Il Giardino di Bradipo

L'altro giorno ho fatto una demostrazione della vestizione dei Kimono giapponese.
Questa volta ho dovuto vestire il Yukata (Kimono estivo e informale) maschile oltre ai soliti Yukata femminile e Homonghi (Kimono semi-formale).

Mentre preparavo dei accessori, mi sono accorta che non possedevo il Koshihimo (la corda che si mette sotto la fascia Obi) per i maschi.

Ho tirato fuori un foulard vecchio, l'ho tagliato a metà, l'ho cucito, l'ho rovesciato e infine l'ho chiuso le due estremità.
Et voila!

The other day, I made a Japanese Kimono dressing demonstration.
This time I had to dress the Yukata (Summer and informal Kimono) for male, other than those usual Yukata for female and Homonghi (semi-formal Kimono).

While I was preparing accessories, I realized that I hadn't got any Koshihimo (under-belt for Obi-belt) for male.

So I took a scarf, cut it in half, sewd it, reversed it and closed the ends.
Et voila!

Here is the corner I planted the soybean plants that I mentioned yesterday.

Tra le piante che si trovano in questo angolo del giardino, quelle che mi incuriosiscono di più sono i girasoli.
Sono in tre, uno è dietro la soia destra, l'altro è dietro i fiori di tagete (i fiori arancioni) e l'ultimo, che non si vede bene, ma si trova dietro la soia sinistra.
Sono tutte e tre seminati nello stesso giorno, germogliati nello stesso giorno e trapiantati nello stesso giorno, ma sono diversissime nella crescita.

Among the plants there, the sunflowers have took my attention.
They are three. One is behind the right soybean, other is behind the marigold flowers (the orange flowers) and the last one, which you can not see very well, but is behind the left soybean.
All of them are seeded in the same day, sprouted in the same day and are transplanted in the same day, but the are growing in very different way.

Sono sbocciati i fiori della pianta di soia.

Se mi ricordo bene, la semina è stata fatta fine aprile ed il trapianto a metà maggio.
Questo posto è molto soleggiato (quasi tutto il giorno prende il sole) e forse per questo all'inizio la terra si asciugava troppo in fretta e faceva soffrire le piante.

Il problema è stato risolto con la pacciamatura con le cortecce.
Adesso le piante sembrano molto più fresche.



Riuscirò a godere il classico piatto estivo del Giappone, l'EDAMAME & BIRRA?

The soybean flowers have bloomed.

I think I have seeded them at the end of April, and have transplanted them in the middle of May.
This place is very sunshiny (it takes the Sun almost all day long) and maybe for this reason the soil have been dried up too much quickly. That was making suffered the plants.

This problem has been resolved by mulching the plants with wood chips.
Now the plants seem much fresher.

Will I be able to enjoy the "EDAMAME & BEER", a Japanese classic Summer plate?

Quando mancava pochissimo, mia suocera Franca è caduta dalle scale e si è rotta la caviglia destra.

When the garden was almost done, my mother-in-law Franca stepped off the stairs and has broken her ankle.



Per seguirla mi sono fermata con la preparazione del giardino.

Del tappetto erboso ho seminato solo tra le pietre del passaggio.
Il resto sarà fatto dopo l'estate, perchè ho paura che si bruci tutto.

I sawed some turf seeds only between the stone blocks of the pathway.
The rest will be done after the Summer to avoid the hot and dry weather.

Il terremoto d'Abruzzo del 06 aprile 2009 alle ore 3.32 ha causato quasi 200 vittime e tanti dispersi, e moltissima gente deve vivere lontato dalla propria casa in situazione di emergenza.



Ci sono molti informazioni sulla rete, ma ho trovato il blog della MTV Italia molto utile.
Ti danno i link di diversi siti per le informazioni aggiornati e per gli aiuti umanitari.

The earthquake of Abruzzo of 3:32 o'clock of the 6 April 2009 has made almost 200 victims and many missing pople, and a lot of people is forced to live away from their own house in the situation of emergency.
